While visiting Meeker, plan to stay a few days.  Within minutes of town we are neighbors to the Flat Tops Wilderness area and adjoining White River National Forest.  With over 350,000 acres, this area is home to the largest elk herd in North America.  We also have excellent fishing for cutthroat, rainbow, and brook trout.  If you like crowds, don't waste your time.  If it's a quiet laid back place you're looking for, you've found it. Quiet spacious accommodations near unlimited recreation.
